Interning with Back To The Wild is a great way to gain hands on experience with native wildlife!
Wildlife Rehabilitation interns will focus on the cleaning, care, and feeding of our wildlife patients at our center. This will include neonate mammal and bird care, patient triage, animal restraint and handling, record keeping. Wildlife Rehabilitation interns will also get the opportunities to work with the public.
See the flyer below for requirements. For more information, reach out to our Volunteer & Intern Coordinator Mary Malerich at volunteers@backtothewild.org.
Download an application here, fill out and return to volunteers@backtothewild.org along with an updated resume.
