Can you help us help wildlife?

We want all of our supporters to be safe and healthy! Because of this, we understand why there need to be lock downs. However, finding funding in these unique times is very difficult. If you think you are in a place where you feel comfortable with donating, please check out how you can help us continue to help wildlife!

Consider donating! What do your donations pay for?

-Medical bills

-Food costs

-Housing

-Care costs (supplies, staff costs, enclosure maintenance, etc...)

-Utilities (need to keep those lights on!)

-And SO MUCH MORE!

Whether it is $1.00 or $1000.00, your donation truly makes a difference. Without YOU, there is no us for THEM!!!

Who We Are

Back to the Wild is a 501(c)3 charity dedicated to the rehabilitation and release of wildlife as well as serving our community through education. Everything we do is only possible because of our wonderful supporters and a community that cares about the future of our planet.

Each year, we rescue around 2,000 animals and present educational programs to around 50,000 people! With a skeleton crew of just six full-time clinic technicians and educators, things can get hectic but we're here for the long-haul.

You can learn more about scheduling programs and tours by visiting our PROGRAMS and TOURS pages.

Want to help us continue our work? Consider donating! Your money goes towards helping us care for and feed our patients and ambassadors, pay electric bills, vet bills, staff costs (because it is not possible without them!), and more!

Homecare Volunteer Opportunity

Help us help wildlife by becoming a homecare volunteer! Homecare volunteers work under Back To The Wild's permit to care for orphaned wildlife in the comfort of their own home.

Homecare volunteers will:

  • Be provided with everything they need to successfully raise wildlife orphans

  • Dedicate time and space to orphaned mammals

  • Follow state laws/regulations and Back To The Wild guidelines

  • Have a chance to save countless wildlife orphans!
